Brooke Dick

Brooke is a welsh illustrator, based in South Wales. Her artistic flare is influenced by the the likes of classic illustrators such as E.H. Shepard and Quentin Blake and more contemporary artists such as Eva Geib and Sabi Sasaki. Her preferred mediums are traditional fine liner pen and paper, which often evolve into digital reproductions. With these materials she creates humorous narrative scenes in a bold linear style. She studied a Bachelor of Arts illustration degree at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Brooke aspires to work in the children’s narrative book industry. She hopes to inspire young people to engage with literature through her illustrated work.
